almost spring

a lazy morning in bed with the ny times
and then strawberries and pink grapefruit,
orange juice and muscato and matzo and eggs.
the warm weather called us to the river
and we walked 50 blocks to midtown
where we had drinks and guacamole and churros
and came home again.
